PHOTO EXHIBITION OF GENDER FREE ZONE DURING GAY PRIDE BY PETRA VAN VELZEN
I proudly present the exhibition of my photo project Gender Free Zone during the two weeks of the Gay Pride Amsterdam 2016 at Gallery Beeldend Gesproken in De Hallen in Amsterdam
‘The project Gender Free Zone by Petra van Velzen is a research into gender diversity. She is convinced that gender is not binary – man/woman – but a continuum with endless number of variations. The series contains portraits of people with both masculine and feminine characteristics. Gender Free Zone shows the many appearances in the gender spectrum and the beauty of it’
